Con in Fresno, CA. Looking for DM's

Still in need of DM's.  If you have RPGA experience or are familiar with Pathfinder, please contact me asap.  We need your help to get this off the ground.  This Con cannot go on without community help. 

  Also, if you are interested in running a card game tournament or a other game demos, let me know.

i saw that you listed Magic... is there a tournament or open play? i'm interested in the open play.. and if so how do you adjust for costs for that?

Currently, it will be an open tournament.  There's a few people running it for me.  Mostly, it will be for fun.  NO set tournemnt type. 

  But as far as I can tell, there will be a small card tournament every slot (so a game from 9-12, another from 1-5, etc.)  Entrance will be 1.00$ a slot.  Prizes given to the top three players each slot.  I'll have more info as it comes. 

  It won't be anything too strict, just mostly a way for players to get together, meet, and play.

Absolutely.  One of the things we want to push is gamers getting to know each other, meeting up.  We'll have a board where people can post their info to look for people for games.

  Also, there is a lounge area in the student union.  That area will be open to us.  So if some people want to go down there and start up some games, that is more than great.

Hopefully.  I may have someone running a table for me, keeping my fingers crossed.  As soon as I know for sure, I will post here.  It would be great to have a war game presence.

  Also, if you or someone you know would like to run something, we'd love to have you.  Just let me know.  But I figure at the very least, if you or others show, we might be able to get a game of some sorts going on the spot.

Bad News.  The con has been canceled. 


Fresno State has a problem with their elevators, so they are not working at the moment.  Because of this, they cannot legally let us use the building or the rooms we need.  They tried to get us into another building on campus, but because school is starting, this was impossible.  So they instead opted to give us back our money.

  We may reschedule this in the future.  Fall at the earliest. 

  Also, to make up for this, we will be having a Game Day at the library on the 30th to make up for this.  It'll be free, but small.  Our way of saying thank you to everyone.  Check the con site for more info.
